This warranty document outlines the terms and conditions under which My Avenue provides warranty coverage for its products, in compliance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Coverage Period: My Avenue offers a limited warranty on its products for a period of time from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Coverage periods vary, depending on product. Please refer to the warranty section on each product page of the website.

Installation and Maintenance: For optimal performance and to ensure the validity of this warranty, installation and maintenance must be carried out by a qualified, registered or licensed (where applicable) tradesperson. Any installation or maintenance performed by an unqualified person may void the warranty.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover defects or damages resulting from:

  • Misuse or abuse of the product
  • Errors in installation
  • Installation not conducted by a qualified/registered tradesperson
  • Any modifications or alterations of the product 

Consequential Loss: My Avenue is not liable for any consequential loss or damage arising from defects in the product or its components. Consequential loss includes but is not limited to:

  • Damage to other property or contents
  • Loss of time or use
  • Any associated costs incurred as a result of the product defect

Consumer Guarantees: Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the product, you are entitled to a replacement or full refund.

Colour/Finish Warranty: The colour/finish warranty provided by My Avenue is subject to the following conditions:

  • Misuse or abuse of the product

Components/Parts Warranty: The components/parts warranty provided by My Avenue is subject to the following conditions:

  • Products used in accordance with pressure limitations outlined in product details
  • Unless otherwise specified, all products are for indoor use only
  • Misuse or abuse of the product
  • Errors in installation
  • Installation must be conducted by a qualified/registered tradesperson

Main Body Warranty: The main body warranty provided by My Avenue is subject to the following conditions:

  • Products maintained as per care instructions
  • Unless otherwise specified, all products are for indoor use only
  • Misuse or abuse of the product
  • Errors in installation
  • Installation must be conducted by a qualified/registered tradesperson

Claim Procedure: To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue. My Avenue reserves the right to inspect the product, or request video/photo footage outlining the issue, before approving any warranty claims. If a defect is confirmed, My Avenue will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective parts, provide a replacement or a full refund.

Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, the liability of My Avenue under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective parts, and My Avenue shall not be liable for any other costs or damages.

Consumer Rights: This warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.
